Citi Forward® Card for College Students
The Citi Forward® Card for College Students , issued by Citibank, is a rewards credit card ideal for college students who appreciate smart savings, great rewards and extra protection on a card. You can even reduce your APR for purchases over time when you use your credit responsibly.
0% Intro APR – Enjoy an interest-free period on purchases for 7 months with a 0% introductory APR offer. You will pay no interest charges during this time, and a variable APR between 13.99% - 22.99% will apply thereafter. This APR will be based on your creditworthiness and the prime rate.
APR Reduction – You can lower your APR on purchases by up to 2% when you make a few smart credit choices. Make a purchase, stay under your credit limit and pay on time for three consecutive billing periods to receive an APR reduction by .25%. Your purchase APR can be lowered by a maximum of 8 times, up to a total reduction of 2% during the time your card is active.
100 ThankYou Points – As an added bonus, you can earn 100 ThankYou Points each billing cycle when you pay your balance on time and stay below your credit limit. This will amount to 1,200 bonus points per year for merely being a responsible cardholder.
Paperless Statements – Nowadays you no longer have to keep checking your mail for your monthly billing statement, while running the risk of your information getting into the wrong hands. Sign up for paperless statements during your first three months of account opening and earn 1,000 ThankYou bonus points.
