What exactly are student credit cards? How are they different? The fact is they arent that much different than regular credit cards except the way they approve the people that apply for them.

Student credit cards are designed for students that have little or no credit at all. That doesnt mean bad credit. They are designed to get college students started on their credit highway and how to handle debt responsibly.

The student card issuers are primarily looking at two deciding factors. Your ability to repay the card, (a job) and your future, (major and years in school). So if you have a bright futue, a job and no credit these are the cards for you, enjoy.
